Security Services Northwest, Inc. (SSNW) — a premier private security company serving the West Coast since 1977 — is seeking an accomplished Vice President to oversee operations and drive company growth. SSNW provides armed and unarmed security, patrol, dispatching, alarm installation, maritime AT/FP, and remote monitoring services to local, state, and federal clients across multiple states.
The ideal candidate is a proven executive leader with a deep understanding of corporate operations, acquisitions, security services, and innovation through the integration of technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the President and CEO daily.
- Oversee Sales, Human Resources, Contracting, Compliance, Operations, Alarm, Accounting, IT, and Payroll Departments.
- Lead company-wide operational strategy, compliance, and performance management.
- Manage multi-state contracts, licensing, and insurance renewals.
- Ensure financial integrity, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
- Represent SSNW in executive meetings, client engagements, and industry events.
- Must reside within 45 minutes of SSNW Headquarters in Sequim, WA.
- This is an in-person position reporting to HQ daily.
Qualifications
- 10 years of executive or senior leadership experience in operations, service industry, or security management.
- Direct experience managing 600–1,000 employees across multiple states, locations, and or divisions.
- Strong understanding of corporate finance, contract law, labor law, and multi-state regulatory compliance.
- Strong background in AI technology and software development is a plus.
- A bachelor's or master's degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Experience in the security field or law enforcement/military is a plus.
- Proven record of leadership, accountability, and professional integrity.
- Experience working with ADP and scheduling software applications.
- Must pass criminal history check, drug testing, good driving record, and sign NDA
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $195,000 – $225,000 annually DOE
- $25,000 signing bonus
- Up to $20,000 in relocation reimbursement (if needed)
