What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician position at Security Service Company?
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair Burglar, Fire, CCTV, and Access systems.
- Our service department primarily focuses on repairing systems but will also handle smaller installations in both residential and commercial environments.
- Technicians share a paid on-call rotation for off hours emergencies.
Requirements
- Prior industry experience is strongly preferred, but not absolutely required.
- Experience in customer service and low / high voltage industries is beneficial.
- Drivers license, clean criminal record, and passing drug tests are all required.
Other Notes
- A company van is provided and driven from home to job site each day.
- All tools are provided by way of a tool allowance, over time the employee owns the tools provided.
- Working hours are 8am-4pm M-F, paid travel. Occasional overtime can be needed to finish critical projects. On call emergency work is performed at double time.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
