Job Skills / Requirements

Ensures the safe movement of pedestrians, vehicles, and bicycles as needed during peak traffic times for special events, accident scenes, game day, utility, and construction sites. We have different sites located throughout central and southern Indiana. We will pick sites that best suits the individual based on preference, experience, and need. No experience is necessary. Training will be provided with employment.

 Set up, maintain, and remove temporary work zones. Including warning signs, and traffic cones, according to ATSSA and DOT guidelines.

· Load and unload work zone equipment to and from the company provided vehicle.

· Complete all paperwork daily.

· Wear and maintain proper PPE in accordance with company policies. 

· Reports directly to a Traffic Control Supervisor.

· Other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

· Have reliable communication to receive work schedule.

· Be able to work in all weather conditions and tolerate varying climates of heat, cold, and rain.

· Be able to stand throughout your entire shift, hand and arm movement is required.

· The position does not allow for frequent breaks.

· Be able to lift 40 pounds.

· Be physically capable to perform all flagging duties.
