This position will process applications for new business. Duties include reviewing life insurance applications to ensure completion, policy changes, changing policy records to reflect changes, canceling insurance policies as requested by customers or agents, and consistent communication with customers and agents to verify the accuracy of application and policies.
What You'll Do:
- Receives applications for new business
- Reviews applications for accuracy
- Enters applications into administrative systems
- Works with underwriting department and agents to resolve questions/issues
- Conducts phone inspections with applicants
- Communicates and works with agents on pending applications
- Issues and mails policies
- Cancels declined and expired applications and returns premium
- Processes journal entries for plan changes and premium refunds
Requirements
What We'll Love About You:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer operation skills
- Ability to type 35 wpm
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Ability to pay close attention to detail
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
