General Statement of Job:
The Corporate Security Team (CST) provides a safe and secure environment for the client. SIS personally designs a comprehensive plan to ensure that the client has the freedom to work and conduct their business without distractions. This position focuses on the safety, security, and privacy of our customer teams, vendors, and associates while ensuring business continuity. This is a very fast-paced, highly dynamic, and mobile team that partners with local law enforcement and emergency medical service providers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide a visible security presence through patrols of interior and exterior areas.
- Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches.
- Control access for employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with company policy.
- Operate from the lobby desk, greeting visitors and enforcing registration and badging procedures.
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems; respond promptly to alerts or incidents.
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors and fellow officers to ensure coordinated coverage.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and medical incidents; coordinate with first responders as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely incident, visitor, and activity reports.
- Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access through proactive patrols and observation.
- Conduct threat and vulnerability assessments during daily operations and special events.
- Oversee vehicle and pedestrian access, ensuring compliance with identification and entry requirements.
- Provide escorts for employees or visitors during after-hours operations.
- Support executive movements, VIP visits, and corporate events to ensure safety and privacy.
- Manage keys, access cards, and security documentation in accordance with policy.
- Assist with emergency notifications, evacuations, and shelter-in-place procedures.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum five years of experience with a federal, state, or local law enforcement agency, showing progressive responsibility
- Honorably retired law enforcement
- Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by presiding state law, as well as all client-requested certifications; all documentation and fees are the responsibility of the employee unless otherwise noted.
- Tactical Operations or Executive Protection experience
- Experience making high-stress decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Ability to work as an individual and part of a complex team
- Must possess excellent time management and administrative skills
- Excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have flexibility to work any shifts on any day of the week (Mon-Sun) and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed
- Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm, with the ability to deliver a high level of customer service

Environmental Conditions: Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions, including temperature changes (cold and heat), weather conditions, indoor and outdoor activities, and may be in close quarters for extended periods of time.
