What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Salesforce Administrator position at SECURITY INDUSTRY SPECIALISTS INC?
About the role:
The Software Solutions Clerk is responsible for assisting in database administrative functions. Using a variety of tools that range from Salesforce.com, Excel, MS Suite and others, our Clerks work to create tools to assist all parts of our business. In addition they will work with the Software Solutions Manager to create policies, procedures and overall best practices for application upgrades.
In this role, your responsibilities will be:
• Create or modify Salesforce applications / workflows to make them more user friendly
• Remain up to date on Salesforce's releases including new functionality and changes that may impact our systems
• Triage and provide technical assistance for incoming requests and issues
• Provide testing and QA support as needed
• Assist in documenting existing processes and workflows to strengthen institutional knowledge
• Perform other duties as assigned
As a candidate, you must have:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Minimum one test experience in a help desk role
• Mac iOS and PC operating systems and software including advanced knowledge of Excel
• Salesforce knowledge to include configuration, design of web forms, and familiarity with third party apps such S Jitterbit, Conga, Einstein analytics
• Experience in Jira, web development, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Excellent time management, verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
• A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
