Security Force of America Inc. is looking for a skilled Low-Voltage Technician to join our team in Port
Orange, FL. You will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of alarm systems,
security cameras, and low-voltage cabling in residential and commercial settings. If you take pride in clean

Responsibilities
- Install, program, and service intrusion alarm systems (residential and commercial)
- Mount, configure, and maintain IP and analog CCTV/security camera systems
- Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, coax, RG6, speaker wire)
- Troubleshoot system faults and perform diagnostic repairs
- Coordinate with customers on-site to explain system operation
- Complete work orders, inspection reports, and service documentation accurately
- Adhere to NEC, local codes, and company safety standards
Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in low-voltage, alarm, or security camera installation
- Familiarity with major alarm panels (DSC, Honeywell, Bosch, or similar)
- Experience with IP camera platforms (Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, or similar)
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and system schematics
- Comfortable working at heights, in attics, and in tight spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with access control systems (Lenel, Genetec, HID)
- Prior experience with structured wiring panels and AV integration
