Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Manager to lead a team of Business Analysts responsible for system requirements, configuration, testing, and documentation across policy, claims, and related applications. This role focuses on people leadership, system improvements, and successful delivery of technology initiatives that support business operations and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Business Analysts across system support, enhancements, and project delivery
- Own business system roadmaps, improvement initiatives, and application rollouts
- Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and software partners to prioritize work and ensure successful releases
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, change management, and company policies
- Oversee system configuration, issue triage, testing, and risk escalation
- Drive process improvements and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Provide regular status updates to leadership and project stakeholders
- Support business continuity efforts during catastrophic events, including extended hours as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Six (6) years of industry-related experience in software development and business systems management
- Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience
- OR an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
Certifications and Licenses:
- May be required to possess a valid state of Florida driver’s license
- Insurance industry designations or trade certifications as required
