What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance/Internal Audit Clerk position at Security First Federal Credit Union?
1. Assists in the essential clerical functions of Compliance and Internal Audit.
- Facilitates the identification of risk across business lines by pulling daily reports that will assist the CCO and Internal Auditor.
- Identifies and reports discrepancies, errors, and other detected problems.
- Performs daily and weekly report functions (i.e.; pulling ACH and file maintenance reports, etc.)
- Performs specific duties in support of special projects, (i.e. internal investigations, etc.).
- Reports deficiencies to the CCO and Internal Auditor.
2. Compliance
- Abides by all applicable rules, regulations, and Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Properly securing member information in accordance with Credit Union privacy and confidentiality policies.
- Ensuring a neat and safe work area.
- Completing required training for position within deadlines
3. Performs other duties as required and assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have a minimum of one (1) year financial institution operational experience. Computer proficiency working with spreadsheets and data systems required. Must be logical, analytical, and detail-oriented.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 5 to 30 pounds. This position involves sitting for long periods of time, frequently viewing a computer monitor, and requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information.
