Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (9am-3pm)
Friday (7am-3pm)
Position Summary
The Unarmed Access Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and controlled movement of employees, contractors, and visitors within designated facilities. This role involves escorting individuals, monitoring activities, and maintaining compliance with site-specific security protocols.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must have or obtain a Valid ASRB License as required by the state licensing authority• Must be at least 18 years old
Duties & Responsibilities
- Escort employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors throughout the facility as required
- Monitor and control access to restricted or sensitive areas
- Ensure all escorted individuals follow company and site safety policies
- Maintain constant observation of surroundings and report any suspicious or unsafe activity
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas (foot patrols as needed)
- Complete daily logs, incident reports, and escort documentation accurately
- Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and the public
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established procedures
- Support overall site security operations as directed by supervisors
- Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
Required Skills & Abilities
Minimum• Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments• Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills• Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations• Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting
Preferred• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs)
• Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break• Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping• Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping
Education & Experience
Minimum• High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred• 1 Year of Verifiable Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience• 2 years of verifiable customer service experience
