Position Title: Branch Manager
- Any individual who performs the services of a manager for a Class "B" security agency or branch office must have a Class "MB" license. A Class "M" licensee, or a Class "D" licensee who has been so licensed for a minimum of 2 years, may be designated as the manager, in which case the Class "MB" license is not required.
Salary: $50,000 to $60,000
Base salary will escalate as growth at the branch level is achieved. There will be growth metrics provided that start with a commission/performance bonus plan and then transition to performance bonus only (with a higher base salary) once certain goals are achieved. Our goal is to hire someone who is eager to be a proactive part of our growth strategy, partnering with our local sales rep, and build a book of business they can then manage.
Position Summary:
- The Branch Manager oversees daily operations of 24/7 security services, leading a diverse team to deliver high-quality solutions, drive efficiency, and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Independently lead and manage a team of security supervisors and officers.
- Foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork and professional development.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations with constructive coaching and feedback.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure all security operations comply with company policies, contract requirements and client expectations.
- Make sure all employees have the proper security license at the time of hiring.
- Track expiration dates for all security officer licenses and renew 90 days prior to expiration.
- Report all new-hires and terminations to FDACS.
- Keep track of the company license expiration date and renew it yearly.
- Maintain personnel records.
- Maintain a good relationship with the nearest FDACS regional office.
- Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure continuous 24/7 security coverage.
- Manage incident and emergency response to ensure swift resolution.
Client Relations:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to meet security expectations.
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to assess service quality and address concerns.
- Prepare and present reports on operational performance and client satisfaction.
Financial Management:
- Oversee budget and cost control while maintaining service quality.
- Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
- Oversee billing and invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential security threats.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Security Management, or related field (preferred, not required).
- Experience in 24/7 security operations.
- Experience managing budgets and meeting financial performance goals.
