Armed Security Shift Supervisor

Shift: Sun-Mon (3pm-11pm) and Thurs-Sat (11pm-7am)

Pay Rate: $17.86-$19.00/hour

Role:

An Armed Security Shift Supervisor oversees daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring staff performance, safety, and service meet company standards. This on-site leader guides and supports team members, serves as the link between staff and management, and helps coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and maintain smooth, efficient shift operations in fast-paced environments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security License
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must complete armed training and maintain a valid pistol permit
• Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards

Duties & Responsibilities:

Security Operations

• Perform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.
• Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.

Incident Response & Reporting

• Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
• Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.
• Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.

Customer Service & Professionalism

• Assist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.
• Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
• Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Team Oversight & Support

• Guide and support junior officers
• Ensure protocol and customer service standards are met
• Assist with scheduling and shift coverage

Required Skills & Abilities:

Minimum Required:

• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Strong situational awareness and curiosity.
• Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in critical situations.
• Basic computer skills; able to use a tablet for reporting.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs)

• Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break
• Sit for at least 1 hour without break
• Walk at least ½ mile without stopping

Education & Experience:

Minimum:

• Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1 years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience.

Preferred:

• 3 years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
• 1 years of verifiable Supervisory experience
