Job Skills / Requirements

3rd Shift: Monday-Friday (9:00pm-5:00am)
Pay: $17.00-$18.50/hour

Position Summary:

This position is a Lead position which has a level of responsibility.  It requires attention to detail and a sense of responsibility. Additional training will be required but will be completed on the job.   

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a Valid Security License as required by the state of Alabama
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Patrol & Surveillance
• Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
• Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
• Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity

Incident Response & Reporting
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
• Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
• Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement
• Assist visitors and employees professionally
• Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
• Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)

Supervisory Responsibilities

Team Oversight & Support

• Guide and support junior officers
• Ensure protocol and customer service standards are met
• Assist with scheduling and shift coverage

Physical Requirements (subject to change based on client-specific needs)

• Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break
• Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping
• Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping

Education & Experience:

Minimum
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience

Preferred
•3 years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
• 1 years of verifiable Supervisory experience
