Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Installation Technician, located in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. The Installation Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a range of technology systems, including network infrastructures, video surveillance, electronic door access systems, intrusion alarm systems and audio-visual equipment. The position involves working with clients and internal team members to meet unique technology needs, ensuring high-quality outcomes, and delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to project timelines and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in the installation of technology, telecommunications networks, audio/visual, electronic security, electrical or related disciplines is preferred. Comparable installation experience in other unrelated trades is also acceptable.
- The ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members is important for this role.
- Technicians are expected to perform with a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Physical ability to lift and carry equipment and work in various environmental conditions requiring light-duty construction operations is mandatory for this position.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certifications or related training are advantageous.
- This position includes regular travel throughout the Midwest with frequent overnights, roughly 50% travel with out-of-town stays.
