A Warehouse Team Member is responsible for the packing, shipping, tracking and receiving of all customer and supplier orders. They will process orders, maintain warehouse cleanliness and work as a positive part of an efficient team. The ideal candidate will possess a sense of urgency and be highly attentive to details.
Duties and responsibilities
A Warehouse Team Member is responsible for the duties outlined below as well as other that may not be included in this document.
- Maintains receiving, storage and distribution of products
- Packing, shipping, tracking and receiving of all customer and supplier orders
- Double check order items and shipping information, paying close attention to details
- Participates in regular physical inventory counts
- Takes note of any potential safety concerns in the warehouse and reports immediately to the Purchasing & Warehouse Manager
- Keeps warehouse areas clean, clear of debris and doors clear of clutter
- Excellent interdepartmental communication
- Address facility needs of warehouse and office space
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- High School graduate or higher
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle conflict in a calm and professional manner
- Adaptability
- Sense of urgency
- Physically capable of performing duties
- Self motivated and able to work independently
Working conditions
Working hours are typically 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Operational hours for the company are 9am-7pm Monday-Friday.
Physical requirements
Candidate will be required to sit at a desk, lift more than 70lbs and stand for long periods of time. Typing, lifting, walking, reaching and pulling are essential and will be required for much of the day.
Hours: 9AM-5:30PM, M-F
Location: Asheville
Compensation and Benefits:
35K Base, 100% Paid Health/Dental/Vision Insurance, Yearly Company Bonus 0-3K, 1 Month PTO: (3 Week Paid Vacation 1 Week Paid Sick Leave), 401K Matching after 1 Year or Debt Repayment Matching after 6 Months.
