As a Derivatives Analyst Intern, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative, agile team. The team's primary focus is managing derivatives portfolios, which include equity derivatives, interest rate derivatives, and foreign currency derivatives for various hedging strategies. This front office role offers daily exposure to the financial market and provides the potential for career advancement. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a keen interest in financial markets and exhibit the ability to quickly learn and adapt. The Derivatives Analyst Internship position will be located in our New York office. We work a hybrid schedule, offering flexibility to work both remotely and on-site.
Students eligible for the internship will be current, full-time students available to work full-time throughout the Summer of 2026 in our New York office on a hybrid schedule.

As a Derivatives Analyst Intern, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative, agile team. The team's primary focus is managing derivatives portfolios, which include equity derivatives, interest rate derivatives, and foreign currency derivatives for various hedging strategies. This front office role offers daily exposure to the financial market and provides the potential for career advancement. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a keen interest in financial markets and exhibit the ability to quickly learn and adapt. The Derivatives Analyst Internship position will be located in our New York office. We work a hybrid schedule, offering flexibility to work both remotely and on-site.
- Collaborate with traders and quants to help develop derivatives trading strategies using quantitative and qualitative analysis.
- Support monitoring the risk and profitability of derivatives portfolios and performing P&L attribution analysis.
- Assist with conducting market research and analysis to identify trading opportunities.
- Assist with analyzing equity derivatives, interest rate derivatives and FX derivatives portfolios for better risk management.
- Prepare high quality presentations for distribution to senior management.
- Generate reports for dissemination to stakeholders within and outside the organization.
- Work with counterparties & middle office to resolve discrepancies related to trading activities.
- Work with the quant development team to enhance the trade execution process and risk management system.
- Strive for constant enhancement and automation of designated tasks.
- Stay up to date with market news and industry updates & publish market commentary as needed.
Students eligible for the internship will be current, full-time students available to work full-time throughout the Summer of 2026 in our New York office on a hybrid schedule.
- A student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Finance, Data Science, Mathematics, or related fields, with an expected graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
- Hard working, resilient, competitive, and highly driven.
- Demonstrated interest in financial markets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Experience in creating high quality presentation slides is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
- Keen interest in learning about derivatives and an aptitude for mathematics for career growth.
- Relevant programming skills preferably in MATLAB and/or Python.
