Job Summary:
Security 101 – Bay Area, CA is now recruiting for a Commercial Security Lead Technician that has 7 years of hands-on installation and configuring, programming and testing of on-premise, and cloud hosted enterprise electronic security experience as related to card access technology and related devices, video MGMT systems, intrusion alarm, and other applicable force protection equipment.
Salary:
This is a full-time non-exempt position with an Hourly wage range from $45.00 to $55.00, commensurate with skills, product knowledge and programming experience.

Skills/Abilities:
- Must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience installing and programming commercial access control, IP-based video and intrusion alarm systems.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project lead responsible for complete project supervision.
- Must be process oriented, with good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics with professionalism.
- Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking is essential.
- Must be able to work independently and resolve problems to our customer’s satisfaction.
- Must possess a valid driving license and clean MVR.
Current certification or proficiency configuring one or more of the following enterprise software platforms is a plus:
- Access Control: ProWatch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2.
- Video: Axis, Exacq, Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha.
- Intrusion: DMP, Honeywell.
- Security 101 will invest in training for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Installing, terminating, configuring, and testing enterprise security systems with minimal supervision. System knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, IP Cameras, Intrusion Detection, Video Analytics, IP network systems, and visitor management.
Successfully demonstrate installation, termination, test and perform maintenance on the following hardware from leading manufacturers like Von Duprin, Assa Abloy, HID, Honeywell, etc.

• EREX (Emergency Request to Exit Buttons)
• REX (Request to Exit) PIR
• Motion Sensors
• IP Cameras
• NVR's and DVR's
Education:
- High School (or GED) minimum requirement
- Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred)
Security 101 is a DFWP and EOE organization with a team-oriented work environment.
Must have a clean driving record; pass a background investigation and a drug-test screening. Must also be able to work in both office and outside environments, climb a ladder, use a forklift, and carry boxes weighing 50lbs.
