Contract Security Officer - Part Time Flex ($38.04) Weekends ONLYThis Position is Weekends only: Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday.The Contract Security Officer position requires the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals, including members of the general public, Department of Defense personnel, and all ranks of military, civilians, and visitors. The duties and responsibilities are as followed, but not limited to:Security of building(s)Identification of all visitors and guestsProtection of physical assetsAnti-terrorism and force protectionMaintaining logs via written or electronicMaintaining and carrying a firearmThis position is under the direct supervision of the site Captain and Lieutenant. Candidate Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen Must Be 21 years of ageMust be able to comply with grooming and uniform standardsMust be high school/GED graduate Must posses a clearance issued by U.S. Department of DefenseMust be able to complete all required training prior to assignment. Must have one of the following: Three years security experience ORThree years of military service (active duty or reserve) with and honorable discharge OR An Associates Degree or at least 60 semester hours of college coursework in any field of study OR Successful completion of Police Officer's Standard Training (POST) course.
