SOC Operator (Command Center )
Part Time- Overnight
10p-6am
Saturday and Sunday.
- Monitor security, surveillance, alarm, and access control systems.
- Receive, assess, and respond to security incidents and emergency situations.
- Dispatch security personnel and coordinate responses as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and activity documentation.
- Monitor multiple communication channels including phone, radio, and email.
- Track and report security events, facility issues, and critical incidents.
- Escalate emergencies and operational concerns according to established procedures.
- Provide real-time support to site personnel, management, and clients.
- Conduct routine system checks and troubleshoot basic system issues.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and security operations.
- Experience with access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring, or dispatch systems.
- Knowledge of incident management and emergency response procedures.
- Previous experience working in a 24/7 operations environment.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Standard computer / technology skills needed.
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
- Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
- Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Previous security experience highly preferred.
- Active NJ SORA license or the ability to obtain one
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
