This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week onsite at one of our Lincoln, Carmel, or Wilmington offices.
Responsibilities
- Work with Sales, Finance & HR to update annual compensation plan components and build annual quotas
- Lead the annual review, update and distribution of compensation plan documents
- Complete commission related month-end close activities, including preparation of accrual journal entries
- Prepare, maintain, and administer monthly and quarterly reports, calculations, and commission statements to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commission related questions from Sales
- Proactively identify and advise on process and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with business leadership, Sales, Finance/Controllership, and Human Resources
- Support broader Commercial Finance activities as needed
- 2 years of financial analyst experience with an operating company, of which 1-2 should be in commercial finance or variable compensation
- Prior experience with a publicly traded company preferred
- Experience presenting to executive management teams
- Experience in fast-change environments
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills; ability to work across all functions
- MS Office knowledge & advanced Excel skills required
- Salesforce knowledge required
- NetSuite knowledge helpful
- Database knowledge helpful
- 10% of the time
