Shift Lead Security Officer
Wage: $22.00/ hour
Prior Experience
- Prior law enforcement, military, or government experience (e.g., DHS, CBP) preferred
- Minimum of 2–3 years of security experience in a high‑risk or regulated environment
- Associate’s degree or higher in a criminal justice–related field
Technical & Operational Skills
- Demonstrated experience in access control, incident management, and customer service within an airport or similarly regulated environment
- Experience working with access control platforms
- Experience operating or monitoring surveillance and screening systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to think critically and effectively resolve conflicts
- Physical ability to respond to emergencies and complete required patrol tours
Screening & Certification Requirements
- Must be able to pass a 7‑year background check
- Must be able to pass the background check required for an Ohio Guard Card License
- Must be able to pass a lab‑based drug test
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certification
