Security Supervisor - Rover Region II - Full Time
Primary Location: Santa Fe, NM
Wage: $21.70/HR
Schedule: Mon - Fri: 8AM - 5PM

The Security Supervisor helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:
- Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to Region ll (Taos, Raton, Santa Rosa, Las Vegas, Espanola, Santa Fe, and Tucumcari); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
- Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
- Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
- In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
- Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
- Inspects posts as scheduled and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
- Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
- May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.
Basic Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Above average computer / technology skills needed.
- Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
- Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
- All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
- 2 years of experience.
- NM DL and reliable transportation needed.
- Report writing skills needed.
