Security Officer - Schenectady and Surrounding Area

We are seeking dependable and professional Security Officers for upcoming opportunities at various fixed locations across towns within a 30-minute radius of Schenectady, NY. These positions will offer set schedules once assigned, providing consistency and stability for the right candidates. Pay rates will range from $17.00 – $18.00 per hour, depending on the site location. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are attentive, personable, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct regular walking patrols of the premises to ensure safety and detect any suspicious behavior. • Monitor CCTV and other surveillance equipment. • Complete accurate and timely daily activity logs and incident reports. • Interact professionally with residents, visitors, and/or site staff. • Contact emergency services when required and follow established safety protocols. Qualifications: • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Technological proficiency, particularly with CCTV and basic reporting tools. • Dependable, punctual, and professional. • Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in emergency situations. • Previous security experience preferred, but not required.
