Location: Andover, MA

Schedule: Part Time, Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Securitas Security Services is seeking a dependable and professional Part-Time Security Officer to support operations at a corporate site in Andover, MA. This role is responsible for maintaining a secure environment while providing a welcoming and customer-focused presence for employees, visitors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding property (interior and exterior)
• Monitor CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems
• Manage site access by verifying credentials and issuing visitor badges
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms
• Document all incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed reports
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols
• Provide directions and assistance to employees, guests, and contractors
• Coordinate with emergency responders when necessary

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous security experience preferred, especially in a corporate or office setting
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (ability to communicate effectively in both languages is a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stay alert, observant, and calm under pressure
• Basic computer skills for reporting and system monitoring
• Valid driver’s license (if patrol duties require vehicle use)
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work indoors and outdoors
