The Security Director position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by managing the security services and related operations provided to an assigned group of smaller accounts including client service and problem resolution, service enhancement and expansion, new business development, operational effectiveness, preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, supervision and training.

As an Security Director you would be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of the account office and retail properties, including 24-hour security staff. The role would involve managing security operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating with local authorities and internal teams to maintain a secure environment for tenants, employees, and visitors.
Typical responsibilities for a Security Director at a real estate company would include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies and emergency response protocols
- Supervising security personnel, including training, performance management, and ensuring adherence to protocols
- Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities
- Managing access control systems, surveillance, and other physical security measures
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Leading incident investigations and reporting, and maintaining detailed records of all security activities
