PER-DIEM Security Officer - $21.72/hr

Securitas is hiring for a PER-DIEM Security Officer to keep our client site safe in Jaffrey, NH!

Pay: $21.72/hr

Schedule: PER-DIEM (as needed), any day of the week.

1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm

2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

3rd Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor and control access to client facilities.

· Perform regular patrols in a retail mall setting to ensure the safety and security of assigned areas.

· Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, including medical, fire, and other incidents.

· Enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures.

· Prepare and submit detailed incident and daily activity reports.

· Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and emergency personnel.

· Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.

· Conduct inspections and maintain equipment as required.

· Assist in risk assessments and proactive measures to enhance security.

Qualifications

· Excellent observational and de-escalation skills; able to remain calm under pressure.

· Robust experience in customer service, law enforcement, security, and/or military roles are strongly preferred.

· Strong communication skills and comfortable with engaging in difficult conversations.

· Committed to ethical practices and following all safety protocols, always maintaining a safe and respectful approach.

· Basic to moderate computer skills required.

· MUST be comfortable standing and walking for long periods of time.

· Prior experience working in reception or an administrative position is highly preferred.

Requirements

· At least 18 years of age.

· Reliable means of communication and transportation.

· Legal right to work in the United States.

· Ability to effectively speak, read and write English.

· MUST have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

· Ability to complete all pre-employment requirements prior to starting.
