University Security Officer - Access Control & Patrol
Pay: $18.21 per hour
Schedule: Thursday - Saturday 11pm to 7am (Part Time 24 hours per week)
Seeking a security officer who is willing to check identification cards, secure entrances, monitor cameras, maintain logbook entries and report any issues to the shift supervisor. University Patrol officers are expected to be able to stand for prolonged periods, walk long distances outdoors, be comfortable with incident report writing, be comfortable with driving full size SUVs on site, respond to calls and interact with the campus community.
Qualifications:
• Active Connecticut State Guard Card
• Active Connecticut State Driver's License - Reliable transportation & Clean Motor Vehicle History
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of Security Experience preferred- Military/ Law Enforcement experience may substitute
• Calm, polite, and professional demeanor.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• High level customer service
