Overnight Security Supervisor – Full Time – Longview, WA

Wage: $18.70/HR

Rotating schedule of 4 days on, 4 days off.

What You Can Expect:

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that required reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers and other company personnel; reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
•  Locking specific doors and securing buildings. 
• Check in contractors and manage access control - access control for contractors is a tablet system that keeps a database monitored by Site Supervisor/103. 
• Multitask covering all tasks.  
• Maintain printers and computers at truck scales.
• Maintain operation of diesel generators for lighting and power.
• Sign paperwork and check in chemical drivers at location for unloading chemicals.
• Escort people across facility - (truck drivers to docks).
• Escort terminated employees off site on behalf of client. 
• Learn locations on site for emergencies and escorts. 
• Parking enforcement on site. 
• Postings per H.R. at specified locations. 
• Blocking parking lots.
• Fire watch.
• Various other tasks as required by client.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of customers in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift. 
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation. 
• Driver Certification.
• Must have a clean MVR.
• Ability to communicate via 2-way radio.
• Must be physically capable to walk an estimated 8 miles per night up and down stairs - (minimum of 3 rounds per shift).
