Mobile Officer
Location: Andover, MA
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
The Mobile Patrol Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment throughout a corporate client property. This position involves conducting routine and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter grounds using a company vehicle or on foot. The officer serves as a visible security presence, responds to incidents, enforces site policies, and provides exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.
Essential Duties:
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled mobile and foot patrols of the property, parking lots, garages, and surrounding grounds.
- Monitor for unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, safety hazards, security breaches, and property damage.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and requests for assistance.
- Complete detailed incident, activity, and daily reports accurately and professionally.
- Perform lock/unlock procedures for designated buildings, offices, and gates.
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials when necessary.
- Assist employees, visitors, and contractors with directions, escorts, and general inquiries.
- Investigate and document security and safety concerns, escalating issues as required.
- Maintain communication with supervisors, site management, and emergency responders.
- Conduct vehicle inspections before and after each shift and report maintenance concerns.
- Enforce client policies, procedures, and security regulations in a professional manner.
- Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and severe weather events.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing both the security company and the client.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous security, law enforcement, military, or customer service experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass background screening and any required drug testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
