As our Augusta, GA district office continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our local management team. In this key role, you will lead core HR functions and help build a positive, compliant, and people-focused workplace culture that supports our mission and our officers in the field.
As the HR Manager for our security district, you will be the central support for both office operations and local HR needs. You’ll help keep the district running smoothly while supporting key HR activities such as recruiting security officers, managing licensing and training records, and assisting with employee questions.
You’ll work closely with district leadership and supervisors to support our guards in the field and staff in the office. In everything you do, you will model our core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.
Compensation and Benefits:
Depending on experience, Securitas will offer a salary range of $50,000 - $52,000, in addition to a full benefits package that includes:

Key Responsibilities
Office & District Administration
- Serve as the main point of contact for the district office.
- Support day-to-day office operations, including phones, mail, visitors, and general inquiries.
- Manage office supplies, uniforms, and equipment inventory.
- Assist with basic district reporting and recordkeeping as needed by management.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support recruiting efforts for security officers and other district roles.
- Post jobs, review applications, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Coordinate pre-employment steps such as background checks, drug screens, and other client or state requirements.
- Prepare new hire paperwork and support local onboarding so new officers are properly set up (uniforms, badges, systems access, basic orientation).
Licensing & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of guard cards, state licenses, permits, and required certifications.
- Track expiration dates and follow up with employees and supervisors to ensure all credentials remain current.
- Help ensure district practices follow company policies, client requirements, and state security regulations.
Employee Support & Relations
- Be an approachable resource for officers and staff with day-to-day questions about paperwork, and basic HR topics.
- Help reinforce company policies and standards of conduct.
- Assist with minor employee concerns and escalate more complex issues to HR or district leadership.
- Support efforts to recognize employees and promote a respectful, professional work environment.
- Maintain employee files and documentation in line with company and legal requirements.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 2-3 years of experience in office management, HR support, or district administration, preferably in security, staffing, or a similar service industry.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially with licensing and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced district environment.
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working with HR and scheduling systems (training provided).
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through.
- Professional, service-oriented, and supportive attitude toward both field and office staff.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
