Our Security Officer positions play a key role in upholding these values. We are currently hiring for a Full-Time FLEX Security Officer opportunity supporting client sites throughout the NH Seacoast area. This role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, enforcing post procedures, and representing Securitas with professionalism, vigilance, and integrity. Flex Officers play an important role in supporting coverage needs across multiple sites and schedules as business needs change.

  • Full-Time FLEX Security Officer

  • Location: NH Seacoast area (towns such as Newington, Stratham, Rochester, etc.) 

  • Schedule: Open availability required for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, schedule will vary weekly based on site needs

  • Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol and Monitoring: Regularly patrol assigned client sites to help ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and property. Monitor security cameras, alarms, and site activity for suspicious or unusual behavior.

Access Control: Manage and monitor access points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the property. Verify identification, maintain visitor logs, and follow site-specific access procedures.

Incident Response: Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms. Assist with de-escalation, document findings, and escalate issues appropriately to management or emergency services when needed.

Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations. Prepare and submit reports in a timely and professional manner.

Emergency Procedures: Follow site-specific emergency procedures for evacuations, medical emergencies, safety concerns, and other critical incidents. Work closely with local authorities when necessary.

Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all post orders, client expectations, and Securitas policies and procedures. Conduct routine security checks to identify potential risks or hazards.

Flex Coverage Support: Provide coverage at multiple client sites as needed across the NH Seacoast area. Adapt quickly to different post assignments, site expectations, and changing weekly schedules.

Collaboration: Work closely with site contacts, branch leadership, and fellow security personnel to support consistent service and dependable coverage across locations.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous security, customer service, or law enforcement experience is preferred but not required.

Availability: Open availability is required for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a schedule that may vary from week to week based on business needs.

Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and observational skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure, work independently, and adapt to new environments and assignments.

Certifications: Security guard certification or related training is a plus.

Licensing: Valid NH State Guard Card or ability to apply for the license will be required.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, patrol facilities, and respond to emergencies.
