Site Supervisor – Retail Security

We are seeking a dependable, professional, and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee security operations at a busy retail shopping center in Garden City, NY. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and prior supervisory experience in a retail or commercial security environment.

- Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Monday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Tuesday: Off
- Wednesday: Off
- Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support on-site security officers, ensuring all post orders and company policies are followed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and security staff during assigned shifts.
- Maintain a strong, visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, and other security concerns.
- Conduct routine patrols of the property, including retail stores, parking lots, and common areas.
- Monitor security operations and respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
- Complete and review incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation.
- Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and performance oversight of security personnel.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is provided while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
- Coordinate with mall management, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be willing to work in Garden City, NY.
- Valid NYS Security Guard License required.
- Valid NYS Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
- Prior security supervisory or leadership experience required and must be present on your resume.
- Retail, mall, or commercial security experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong report writing and computer skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Professional appearance and commitment to outstanding customer service.
