Job Requirements:
Advanced technology skills.
College degree in Criminal Justice, IT, or a related field of study preferred.
Five (5) years of security supervisor experience required.
Job Summary:
The position functions as a supervisor overseeing Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). The Supervisor ensures:
All post orders are followed.
Established rounds are completed.
Required reports are filed accurately and promptly.
Proper authorities and clients are notified in emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coaching & Discipline: Coaches and disciplines personnel appropriately. Seeks guidance from company management or designated representatives as needed. Personally, meets with employees to document coaching and disciplinary actions.
Training & Oversight: Trains Security Officers and other company personnel. Reviews post orders and assignment details with subordinates.
Payroll & Scheduling: Assists in payroll submission and personnel information. Ensures adequate coverage for all posts and positions in coordination with management.
Client Interaction: Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to ensure all security requirements are met and quality customer service is provided.
Reporting: Prepares, files, and submits various reports as required.
Post Inspections: Inspects posts and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
Supervisory Duties:
In accordance with applicable company policies, procedures, and compliance with state and federal laws, supervisory duties include:
Interviewing, orienting, and training employees.
Planning, assigning, and directing work.
Coaching and appraising employee performance.
Rewarding and disciplining employees.
Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Making hiring and termination recommendations.
Other Duties:
May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with post orders and company policies.
