Security Coordinator – Poughkeepsie, NY

Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM

Pay Rate: $30.11 per hour

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Security Coordinator to support the site’s expanding operations and supplement the existing management team. The selected candidate will work closely with site leadership to ensure the consistent implementation of security standards, assist in operational oversight, and contribute to the site’s continued growth and preparedness.

Key Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To)

• Conduct quarterly and annual security measurements and submit results into the CSCM system for tracking.
• Provide technical and administrative support for security systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of related technologies and tools.
• Maintain and update the site’s emergency response plan to ensure compliance and readiness.
• Troubleshoot access control and badging issues in coordination with management and technical teams.
• Revise and maintain post orders as required.
• Operate under the guidance of senior staff while demonstrating independence and accountability in task completion.
• Implement and uphold all Corporate Security standards and requirements.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the industrial or corporate security field.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site in a professional environment.
• Basic IT proficiency; familiarity with software applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Genetec, Lenel, Amag, and Symmetry.
  
  

Reporting Structure

This role will serve as a supplemental support to site management, collaborating directly with the Security Manager and operations leadership to assist with scheduling, site coordination, and daily oversight.
