Part Time Receptionist Officer

Location: Andover, MA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Securitas Security Services is seeking a professional and reliable Part-Time Receptionist Officer to serve as the first point of contact at our corporate site. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for visitors, managing front desk operations, and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and courteous manner
• Monitor access control systems and enforce site entry procedures
• Issue visitor badges and maintain accurate visitor logs
• Verify identification and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
• Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity
• Conduct periodic patrols of the facility (as required)
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a timely and appropriate manner
• Coordinate with building management, law enforcement, or emergency responders when necessary
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries while maintaining security awareness
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
• Complete daily activity reports and incident logs
• Provide administrative support as needed
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior experience in security, reception, or customer service preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, access control systems, CCTV monitoring software)
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
