Part Time Overnight Security Officer

Location(s): Woburn, MA | Lexington, MA | Bedford, MA

Schedule: Part-Time | Overnight Shifts (11pm-7am, Fri & Sat or Sat & Sun)

Pay Rate: $20-$21/hour

Securitas USA is seeking reliable and vigilant Part-Time Overnight Security Officers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises during overnight hours. This position is ideal for individuals who are observant, dependable, and comfortable working independently during nighttime hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises regularly to maintain a secure environment
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, or suspicious activities promptly and appropriately
• Perform access control, ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas
• Complete routine checks of doors, windows, and building systems
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain activity logs
• Liaise with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary
• Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter unauthorized activity
• Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in security or law enforcement preferred, but not required
• Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods
• Excellent observational and reporting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for long periods
