Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure assigned areas to ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property
- Perform patrols, access control, and incident reporting
- Respond to emergencies and follow established procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance and deliver excellent customer service
- Follow all post orders and directives provided by management
- Security Guard License:
- A New York State Security Guard License is preferred (If you have a license, it must be valid and not expired) Expired security guard licenses will not be considered
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work at multiple locations within Queens as needed
- Prior security experience
- Customer service experience
- Ability to work independently in changing environments
