The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.

Pay: $23.00/hr
Schedule
- Full-time (48 hours/week), Monday - Friday 1st Shift
- Part-Time (22.5 hours/week) Monday - Friday 0730 - 1200
- These positions are for a TEMPORARY detail which will begin in January 2027 and will run until May 2027. Once the contract ends, our hiring team will be happy to assist you in finding other sites to continue working on a permanent basis!

Primary Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service with a strong sense of professionalism
- Observe and report in and near the property, identifying and responding to any potential threat or safety hazard
- Conduct hourly foot patrols of the property
- Operate a walk-through metal detector and X-ray baggage scanner
- Conduct screenings with a handheld wand detector
- Highly personable with strong customer service skills - must be comfortable with frequent interactions with the public
- High level of professionalism
- Walking/standing for long periods of time
- VT Guard Card - our hiring team will assist you in applying for this license once hired
- Valid driver's license
- At least 18 years old
