Key Requirements
- Active SPO Armed license or ability to obtain.
- Minimum seven (7) years of armed security, military (armed forces), or law enforcement experience.
- 9mm/Shotgun Certification
- Firearms proficiency to include the ability to disassemble, clean, and reassemble.
- Proficient in firearm safety
- Experienced in situational awareness & observation.
- Ability to make fast and sound decisions, particularly in high stress situations.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills required for report writing.
- Problem solving ability to investigate incidents, gather details, and escalate security challenges.
- Be able to make quick and efficient decisions without supervision present.
- Be fluent in use-of-force techniques.
- Be knowledgeable about the current events in the DC area.
