Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator based in Plano, TX. The SOC Operator is responsible for monitoring security systems, identifying irregular or suspicious activity, and coordinating an appropriate response to ensure the safety and protection of personnel, facilities, and assets.
Key responsibilities include observing surveillance platforms, managing alarms and access control events, documenting incidents, dispatching field personnel when required, and providing timely, accurate communication to leadership and stakeholders. The SOC Operator plays a critical role in maintaining situational awareness and supporting the overall physical security posture of the site.
Compensation:
$20–$26 USD per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications
• Experience in a Security Operations Center, Global Security Operations Center, or similar real-time monitoring environment
• Strong situational awareness and ability to identify and escalate security incidents
• Proficiency with CCTV systems, access control platforms, alarm monitoring tools, and radio/phone communication
• Ability to follow established SOPs, write clear and accurate incident reports, and maintain detailed logs
• Strong communication skills and ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations
• Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required
• Preferred: prior experience in corporate security, critical infrastructure, law enforcement, or military
