Securis is seeking a detail-oriented Network Administrator part-time, in-person assignment. This role is critical to improving the organization, security, and efficiency of our network infrastructure—particularly related to server and networking equipment. You will drive key initiatives around redundancy, bandwidth optimization, and secure remote access while aligning both our headquarters and North Carolina site to standardized best practices.

• Network Organization & Standardization:
  - Centralize hardware management
  - Segment the processing lab into its own VLAN
  - Clearly label and track all network devices and access points
• Redundancy & Resilience:
  - Ensure redundancy for all critical hardware (e.g., dual modems, power supplies, firewall HA)
  - Configure site-to-site VPN between HQ and North Carolina
• Bandwidth Optimization & QOS:
  - Implement Quality of Service (QOS) for Google Meet/Voice
  - Monitor and manage bandwidth usage effectively
• Security Enhancements:
  - Improve firewall and hardware security
  - Block rogue devices, VPN usage, and encrypted key exchanges
  - Set up SonicWall VPN with static IP access
  - Ensure access control for LAN/Wi-Fi and configure guest timeouts
• Monitoring & Reporting:
  - Establish real-time alerts for network downtime
  - Clean up and optimize firewall and system logs

• Experience in network administration or IT infrastructure coordination
• Familiarity with VLAN configuration, SonicWall firewalls, VPN setup, and wireless networking
• Ability to work independently and coordinate across teams
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Flexible, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Comfortable managing short-term, results-driven projects
