SecuriGence delivers essential technology services supporting critical national security missions. We are seeking a talented Logistics Analyst to help contribute to our success. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for assisting with the IT Asset Lifecycle for the agency’s hardware and software.  This includes accounting for all procured hardware and software upon receipt, updating applicable databases, and processing changes within the JIRA ITS Module. Come help us solve problems with Innovation Through Intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of Logistics Analysts to create, manage, and close JIRA ITSM tickets assigned to the Asset Team that directly correlate to the agencies' receipt, relocation, and disposition of assets.
  • Support with adding, updating, and transitioning assets and software licenses in the Defense Procurement and Accounting System (DPAS).
  • Work with the IT Financial Management (FM) procurement team to compare procurement information against received assets.
  • Receive barcode, and input new assets into the JIRA ITSM database
  • Support yearly inventories with the agency's HQ and remote facilities as required by the contract
  • Pull hardware from storage, box hardware, and ship to remote site locations
  • Schedule shipments with vendors for receipt of hardware, and support in receiving hardware when it arrives at the loading dock
  • Will be responsible for scheduling and hosting weekly required meetings for in-person and remote meetings, processing the required documentation, and capturing and archiving meeting minutes
  • Participate in Integrated Process Teams (IPTs) when required
  • Ability to support meetings and Agile Sprint activities
  • Provide knowledge articles (e.g., procedures for shipping, disposal, and requesting assets from the warehouse) when necessary to effectively share IT Service Management information to aid and assist in the provisioning of IT services
  • Loading dock receiving, pallet jack usage, shelf movement, stocking, inventory of stock, shipping - including freight shipping
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 3 years of experience working on a Service or IT contract
    • 5 years of related experience can be substituted, and the substituted experience must involve similar skills and requirements
  • Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IAT Level II certification - Highly Desired
    • Candidates who do not have a IAT Level II certification will have 180 days to complete a 40hr training "Cyber 101 foundational course presented by the Defense Cyber Crime Center, Cyber Training Academy" after start date.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to drive a cargo van.
  • ITIL Foundation v3 desired.
  • Defense Reutilization Marketing Office experience (aka DLA disposition services) desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal, research, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, good judgment in sensitive situations, and be able to wear multiple hats at the same time.
  • Experience with Remedy, JIRA, or similar ITSM.
  • Experience or Certified Training* with DPAS.
  • Experience with commercial shipping (FEDEX, UPS, etc.).
  • Experience with logistics technology (i.e., barcode scanners).
  • Experience with MS Office.
