What You'll Be Doing:
Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning.
May also design network and computer security measures as well as research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process.
Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation.
Interact with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
Oversee the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
Work with other program personnel such as engineers, developers, and testers, as well as communicate with Government and other mission partners.
Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
Analyze complex information and independently take appropriate actions to resolve problems.
Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establishes effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners.
Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers.
Work complex research projects as senior contributors and as part of an integrated research team.
Design and deliver solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience with cybersecurity or information assurance.
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering or related discipline
Active CISSP, CASP CE, CSSLP certification (minimum DoD8570 IASAE Level II certification)
Must know Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Active TS/SCI Polygraph
Preferred/Desired Skills:
Exposure to Cloud/AWS
Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
Able to build systems from the ground up- network architecture/systems engineering
