What You'll Be Doing:
Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system.
Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and may perform necessary maintenance to support network availability.
May monitor and test Web site performance to ensure Web sites operate correctly and without interruption.
May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.
May supervise computer user support specialists and computer network support specialists.
May administer network security measures.
Organize and direct the configuration and operation of information management systems.
Provide day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance.
Conduct capacity and performance analysis, and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
Increase system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.
Determine computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities and programming techniques and controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Systems Engineering or related discipline
Active CCNA-Security, CySA , GICSP, GSEC, Sec CE, CND, SSCP certification (minimum DoD8570 IAT Level II certification)
Active TS/SCI Polygraph
Preferred/Desired Skills:
Exposure to Cloud/AWS
Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
