The Software Integration and Test Engineer will support the C2BMC program and will primarily be responsible for supporting the information technology team providing critical maintenance for the software development and ancillary laboratory environments supporting the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program.

The Work You’ll Do
This position provides hands-on experience supporting the information technology team providing critical maintenance for the software development and ancillary laboratory environments supporting the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program. C2BMC is the integrating element of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The position includes the following responsibilities:
- Support the IT team in the maintenance of hardware, software and other IT resources
- Assist with IT troubleshooting issues and provide technical support as needed
- Assist with IT resource, cybersecurity, and data management activities
What You’ll Bring
- Graduate of a 4-year college or university completing a B.S in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or Physical Sciences (For non-Computer Science majors, prefer minor in Computer Science or strong coursework in several Computer Science courses).
- Active Secret clearance required to start
- IAT Level II Cert (Security or equivalent) required within 90 days of hire.
- Experience with any of the following Information Technology disciplines; operating systems; Windows, Linux and/or Unix; hardware and software systems, software development, application development, data management, cybersecurity and network administration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Strong ability to work efficiently within a team environment
- Understanding of the Agile processes
Preferred
- Experience with Java, R, MatLab HTML, C software development a plus
Salary Range: $60,000 – $97,000
