This position goes beyond pure design work and focuses on engineering oversight, operations, team leadership, and long-term client outcomes.This is structured as a long-term opportunity with a clear path toward executive responsibility and potential future ownership. The role prioritizes technical integrity and engineered solutions over commission-driven work.Key Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate residential and commercial structural conditions.
- Develop, stamp, and approve engineering reports and repair designs.
- Serve as the primary technical authority for engineering decisions.
- Supervise and mentor Engineers-in-Training (EITs) and field inspectors.
- Oversee site evaluations and quality control standards.
- Manage multiple active projects and field teams.
- Oversee scheduling, billing coordination, and administrative workflows.
- Manage purchasing, equipment utilization, and material flow.
- Supervise shop operations, vehicles, and maintenance programs.
- Provide leadership across engineering, field execution, and office operations.
Qualifications
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience in structural systems or construction engineering preferred.
- General contractor license or construction management experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to perform site inspections and basic field tasks.
