This position goes beyond pure design work and focuses on engineering oversight, operations, team leadership, and long-term client outcomes.This is structured as a long-term opportunity with a clear path toward executive responsibility and potential future ownership. The role prioritizes technical integrity and engineered solutions over commission-driven work.Key Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate residential and commercial structural conditions.
• Develop, stamp, and approve engineering reports and repair designs.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for engineering decisions.
• Supervise and mentor Engineers-in-Training (EITs) and field inspectors.
• Oversee site evaluations and quality control standards.
• Manage multiple active projects and field teams.
• Oversee scheduling, billing coordination, and administrative workflows.
• Manage purchasing, equipment utilization, and material flow.
• Supervise shop operations, vehicles, and maintenance programs.
• Provide leadership across engineering, field execution, and office operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in structural systems or construction engineering preferred.
• General contractor license or construction management experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform site inspections and basic field tasks.
