We are seeking experienced Armed Security Officers for a new security contract at a construction site for a detention facility in the Williamsport, MD (Hagerstown area). Officers will provide entry point security presence by remaining stationed in their vehicle at a designated access location.
This assignment requires professional, reliable officers who are comfortable working independently while maintaining a strong security presence.
Positions Available
Lead Officer
- Pay Rate: $40.00/hour
- Responsible for oversight of assigned officers and coordination with site contacts.
Armed Security Officers (SO)
- Pay Rate: $35.00
Primary Duties
- Maintain security presence at designated construction site entry point
- Remain stationed in personal vehicle while monitoring site access
- Observe and report any suspicious or unauthorized activity
- Ensure only authorized personnel enter the construction zone
- Maintain professional communication with site personnel
Minimum Requirements
- Maryland Armed Security License
- Minimum 3 years armed security experience
- Military or Law Enforcement background preferred
- Must use personal vehicle while on post
- May be required to provide personally owned and registered firearm
- Must be certified with the firearm for MDSGL compliance
- Strong reliability and professional conduct
