Independent contractors are responsible for transporting medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, lab samples, and healthcare documents between hospitals, laboratories, clinics, and pharmacies.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare materials
- Follow HIPAA compliance and confidentiality requirements at all times
- Complete pickups and deliveries accurately and on schedule
- Maintain delivery logs and electronic proof of delivery
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and healthcare clients
- Maintain your vehicle in safe operating condition
Requirements
- Must operate as a 1099 Independent Contractor
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle (SUV, sedan, or cargo vehicle)
- Smartphone with GPS capability
- Ability to pass background check
- Punctual, professional, and detail-oriented
