Responsibilities
- Assist with structured obedience and behavior training sessions
- Reinforce training protocols under supervision
- Practice safe and effective leash handling techniques
- Observe and accurately report canine body language and behavioral patterns
- Help implement individualized training plans
- Maintain detailed training notes and progress reports
- Maintain clean environment
- Ensure a safe, controlled training environment
Qualifications
- Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Strong work ethic and willingness to take direction
- Calm, confident energy around animals
- Physically capable of lifting 40 lbs and being active throughout shifts
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida heat
- Prior dog handling or kennel experience preferred but not required
