We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer (PE) to lead geotechnical engineering projects from proposal through completion. This is a leadership-focused role ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with strong technical expertise, client-facing experience, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead geotechnical investigations for commercial and industrial projects.
- Prepare technical proposals, reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Perform foundation design, soil investigations, and pavement analysis.
- Provide technical oversight and quality assurance throughout project execution.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships during design and construction phases.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Support business development efforts and contribute to the growth of the geotechnical practice.
Required Qualifications
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 10–15 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
- Strong experience with proposal writing and project management.
- Client-facing experience with excellent communication skills.
- Experience leading projects from proposal through completion.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Construction Materials Testing (CMT).
- Knowledge of foundation design, soil investigations, and pavement analysis.
- Business development and technical leadership experience.
